You wouldn't have thought it for the last month but they are there.
I still specced into AR after my respec, you know why??
Cos I want to use AR's and I feel I can now return to them without being forced to use a TAC to remain competitive. AND I'll probably still use the TAR anyway when the situation calls for it (i.e when I need an accurate mid-long range weapon)
They haven't broken the TAR, they have fixed it. People were just used to being able to abuse a broken weapon and became complacent with it. Use it as intended and it will still shine.
They did break the TAC by screwing around with the ROF way to much, not only can most people pull the trigger far faster than what its set at now when you do exceed that speed now the gun stutters and doesnt even fire as quickly as the breach which it shares its new ROF with Thats broken, hip fire and clip size changes were fine though |

IMO they could have left the RoF as was I didn't care about that. However......... Think about it for a minute for the way MOST people were using the gun Higher RoF + Trigger Finger Spam = Less accuracy..... Less Accuracy + Less Bullets = Worse overall gun performance due to less shots hit and more reloading So in a way you could argue the fact that the slower RoF actually improves the weapon by rewarding ACCURATE shots.
Not trying to be mean but thats idiotic, the lower magazine alone rewards accurate shooting while a lower rate of fire just gimps you Ill use an example that happened to me today, I flank some guy and open fire on him with the glu as Im already a fairly accurate guy that likes to stay in the mid to long range Im using my sight and not spraying wildly Due to the screwed up ROF and the gun stuttering when you surpass it I dont get off the shots I need and get eaten by his gek If the rate of fire was left alone or hell if the fix was coded properly so that the gun wouldnt stutter I could have gotten off the shots I needed to put him down before he turned to open fire |

BUT..... most weren't therefore the people who weren't just spammed away and the smaller clip size combined with a high RoF makes the gun worse. By forcing everybody to slow down it rewards better use of the gun hence making the gun better and more suited to its purpose. Now if there is stuttering then that needs to be fixed but the RoF is fine. But hell put it back to what it was, like is said I don't care if it makes most people worse then it means I'll stay alive longer. I wish the best of luck to those emptying a clip in 1.5 seconds. I was in the Clip Size and CQC hipfire nerf camp but not once did I ask for RoF nerf and was very vocal about it in the Feedback request thread.
I wouldnt say a smaller clip size and high rate of fire would make the gun worse it would make a particular play style worse instead while still rewarding those that are accurate Ah well, we seem to be in agreement anyway |

Master Jaraiya wrote:Stop crying about the RoF for a semi auto rifle. Ill post this again for you guys who may not realize this. GLU-5 is capable of 400 RPM 400/60 = 6.6 RPS 6 - 7 shots per second. In Reality shooting a semi auto rifle at this rate would mean you are lucky to hit the broad side of a barn! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rate_of_fire" Semi-Automatic rateThe semi-automatic rate is the assault rifle/semi-auto only version on rapid fire. It is the maximum rate that a weapon can fire with any degree of accuracy in semi-auto mode, usually 45-60 rpm." 60/60 = 1 RPS 1 shot per second!!!! for those of you who do not want to click and face the truth. I guess in the future humans will be able to pull triggers much MUCH MUCH faster than we can now!
I know you feel all proud right now and think you made a point but you didnt really Now if you had used this copy pasta to say that the hip fire accuracy should be altered to increase dispersion even more depending on how rapidly the trigger was squeezed I would be with you But using evidence that supports accuracy ratings and not speed ratings cuts your credibility down, especially when you decide that some of us cant possibly pull the trigger 10 times in a second which many people are able to do
Hell on a real rifle I can do that, even my 12 year old cousin can do that also with a real rifle |
